What to wear after birth

Hi ladies. I'm starting a shopping list for what I need to buy for my hospital bag. What did you ladies wear during birth and after birth while still in the hospital and also what did you wear going home ?

While I was in the hospital I wore basically pajamas because I breastfed and had to put my shirt up. And when I went home I put some maternity pants and a regular shirt

I had a c-section and just wore the hospital gown for the first day or so until I was allowed to shower. I packed big shirts and leggings.

I wore pretty loose pants and t shirts after the hospital gown.

I wore the hospital gown and a bath robe until the day we left the hospital. I had a c-section and it was just more comfortable. I wore loose sweatpants and a t-shirt on the way home. I learned that I WAYYYY overpacked for the hospital. One or two pairs of clothes, travel size toiletries and slippers. The hospital should have everything else you need!

I had a c-section so my MIL sewed me some super flowy dresses. They worked perfectly!

If I am pregnant, I’ll be delivering in the winter, so basically a sweater or t shirt and I’ll order a weeks worth of sweat pants or shorts. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️.
