cold medicine?

anyone know of any cold medicine that I can take for congestion and sore throat? I'm just under 4 weeks, probably pregnant from symptoms and clomid but waiting until Saturday to test. I feel miserable with this cold though!!

They say not to take medicine unless you have to,especially early on but here is the list of safe meds

I know it's horrible...Ive been battling a cold since Monday and I'm 8 weeks :( During the first trimester my Dr advised not to take anything and just to drink tons of water, rest, and use a humidifier. He did tell me to take Tylenol if I was running a fever. Today I'm finally feeling better! It's better to let your body fight it off than risk something happening to the baby in my opinion... especially in first trimester. I hope you start to feel better!
