Dye Test

Hi ladies! I’m 35 and me and my husband have been TTC for over a year with no luck so we went to a doctor and she did blood work on me and my husband did a semen analysis. We got the results today and my blood work came out fine. She said I have plenty of good eggs and my husband has 383 million sperm which he was quite proud of! Lol Anyway, my question to you ladies is that my doctor now wants to do a dye test, which is like a Pap smear where dye is inserted through a catheter to check my Fallopian tubes. If they are open that’s great but if they are not open, she mentioned IVF! Any ladies on here who have had this test done and what I should expect would be helpful. I’m a bit nervous but I am willing to do anything it takes to have a baby! Thanks
