Herpes outbreak?

So i just spoke with a friend today and she told me she was diagnosed with herpes. I got tested 2 days ago, because of some strange discharge I’ve been having. It’s like white I’m slightly sore and itchy down there but it’s not unbearable its SLIGHT. my doctor said she believed it to be a bacterial infection.. now i do struggle with anxiety and that conversation is freaking me out... has anyone had an outbreak but no blistering? And would i know if i had it?
