Are cough drops (Halls) ok in early pregnancy?

i got the ok for them when i was pregnant

My midwife said it’s fine. She recommended using the honey ones instead of menthol ones but if the sore throat and cough was bad enough then a menthol one occasionally wouldn’t hurt. I was also okayed for Robitussin
