I left the hospital about 20lbs lighter (I was in hospital for a week), mostly because I was insanely swollen due to gestational hypertension. So take away baby weight, amniotic fluid weight, placental weight, breastfeeding and the fluid retention I had, I left the hospital feeling like new person! I HAD ANKLES AGAIN!

I lost 8lbs when I left the hospital (she was 3 days old) and now at 6w4d postpartum I've lost a total of 25lbs
