I had that and bled for 8 months straight! I heard people say that constant bleeding is common for the first year of having it but that your body eventually regulates itself. I personally decided to take it out cause I couldn’t deal with that for any longer.

Yes the most common side effect is irregular bleeding/period

It happens to some people some get full on periods for months at a time and some don’t even get a period or maybe every once in a while. It’s just how your body reacts to the hormones. If you don’t want to bleed for that long then see about going to the doctor you got the implant from and take the pill with it
