TMI warning. No pictures but sort of graphic.

So, I am 8 weeks, almost 9 weeks post partum. My Husband and I had sex the day after we turned 8 weeks. (Have already had sex a few times since this) but, we had had a couple of drinks and were a bit tipsy so at one point, he kind of missed the target while we were hard at it. It hurt, and at first I noticed a bit of blood but I have also been spotting weirdly last week so we chalked it up to that. It hurt as we kept going but until I seen how much blood there was I didn’t realize what it actually was that had happened. It looked like a murder scene down there, he basically hit the area by my urethra where I had gotten a small abrasion that didn’t need stitches 8 weeks before with birth of my baby. It hurt obviously but at that second we didn’t realize and just kept going. This was Monday night and I finally got the courage to look at the area yesterday with a mirror and I definitely have what looks like a long huge open cut it’s got a soft scab on it already (whitish in color like when a scab gets wet- which I’m assuming is normal for this area) I woke up this morning to more fresh blood from the area so I’m about to make a Dr.’s appointment. But I’m curious if anyone has ever dealt with this? I’m wondering why a small abrasion hadn’t healed properly by 8 weeks and was tender enough to rip open? Sorry for the long post and TMI parts!!
