Is this an acceptable reason to break up?

My boyfriend always blame me for everything and somehow manages to make me feel guilty. He recently was assigned to write an essay of 14.000 words we are talking about 16 pages and he asked to read it for him however I only scanned through to check mainly the key words and the formal vocabulary. He just called me saying that there are some mistakes on his conclusions and because I didn’t read it , its basically my fault and it’s too late because he already submitted it. I said to him why didn’t you read it before sending it to me?? He said that because he has been on the computer for so long some of the words escaped him and he didn’t realise the mistakes and I was the second hope and because i didn’t read it properly it’s my fault 🤨🤨 now he’s saying that I’m selfish etc
