$45,000. I had a csection and was in the hospital for two days. 
I saved my EOBS. The surgery charge itself was $26,000, and that doesn't include the charge for the surgeons, the assistants, or the anesthetic. That was literally just the cost of the surgery center. 
It's asinine. Luckily we only ended up paying around $3500 after deductibles and things insurance didn't cover.

honestly I can't remember, we met the 500$ deductible (due to high risk for 8wks in middle pregnancy) by 38wks my son made existance. our premium was high...so it worked out. yr before my deductible was 6000 and premium was affordable cost arm and leg during first part of pregnancy.

if i didnt have insurance i would of had to pay 30000 for the hospital plus whatever the clinic charges for the visits.

AFTER insurance payed what they wanted I still owed about 30,000$ I told my SO when we ttc#2 were moving to Canada 😂
