Weird spotting...no AF

So for two days I have been experiencing some light spotting. Yesterday when AF was due I started to spot so I figured I was out this month, so I proceeded to put a pad on. This was around 8am. When I used the bathroom again a few hours later, nothing at all. Then I spotted again later that evening (a whole 12 hours later). Woke up in the morning light pink/brown spotting again.

I have no cramps and no other normal signs of AF. I am on cycle day 15/16 now and extremely confused. I have had weird periods before but never spotting so far apart with no cramps. This is my first month TTC btw. Any advice would be helpful.
