Wine and breast feeding?

Hey there! So I’m a FTM to a 1 month old so sorry In advance if this is a stupid question but
I breastfed my baby about an hour ago and had a glass of wine with A LOT of food lol, if I wanted to pump before his next feeding would I have to dump my milk or would i still be able to freeze it???

it's best to wait two hours after having a drink. it doesn't really matter how much food or water you have with it, your liver can only filter one drink every two hours. eating more will help you "not feel it" as much but it's still in your blood and milk. the only times to pump and dump are to relieve engorgement or to keep your body on schedule for pumping. I nurse or pump, then have a drink right after. that gives me two hours before I have to nurse or pump again.

You can freeze it. if you dont feel comfortable with that you can combine it with another pump session to "dilute" it
