Should you pull a front loose baby tooth, or let it come out on its own?

I have a 6 1/2 year old who has a very loose front tooth. We’ve tried wiggling it and working with it, but it bleeds a lot of too much pressure is applied. I don’t want to hurt her or hurt her gums. Should I schedule a dentist appointment or just wait until it comes out on ITs own?

Honestly contact her dentist. My daughter had the same problem. They were so wiggly for the longest but they didn't want to come out. Her dentist pulled both of them in the office and she has never had any issues with her adult teeth.

if it's really loose I was always afraid of it coming out while she was sleeping or something. So I'd plan to pull it out myself, fail, and then take her to my father's who would then successfully get it out with a single flick of his finger. hehe

I tried letting my 5 year old son teeth fall out by themselves but both times he's Permanent teeth grew behind the baby teeth only keeping the baby teeth loose but not falling out. I took him to this Dentist and they just plucked them right out and she told me when they get loose just pull them and yes there will be quite a bit of blood

What does your kid want?
I ask because my teeth were the same way. I remember telling my parents over and over that it wasn’t feeling like it was going to come out and that I didn’t want them to force it. Obviously not in those exact words because I was 6. Still my feeling was “don’t do this to me.” 
We went to the dentist to discover that my adult teeth were coming in behind my baby teeth and not cutting the root of the baby teeth completely or at all. It would’ve been painful if my parents had tried to do it on their own. That ended up being the case for all of the rest of my baby teeth. I’m thankful that my parents listened to me, even at 6.

When I was a kid I successfully got teeth out within a day that weren't even loose... rock back and forth until they popped out. I was crazy, but all my adult teeth are fine! There's not much you can screw up since they're getting out eventually anyway.
