anyone in UK have their ultrasound booked?

I'm eagerly anticipating my booking appointment in 2 weeks (when I'll be 10 weeks) she'll then book my ultrasound then but has anyone had their ultrasound booked already? I remember her saying thst they usually try to scan between 11 weeks and 4 days or something?

I'm with an NHS service called one to one midwives (only run in Cheshire and Essex apparently). I have one midwife who will come to my home to do appointments and things. I had my first meeting with her at 5 weeks and 2 days and have my bloods booked in at 9 weeks and she's already booked my dating scan for 12 weeks. Very good service compared to the long wait with the normal nhs maternity care!
I've booked a private early scan for Saturday when I'll be 7 weeks and 3 days as I'm so inpatient and just want some reassurance!!

I think it's between 11 and 14 weeks. I'm still waiting for the midwife to return my call. I haven't had my first appointment yet. You must be so excited to have your first scan!! 😀

I am in Edinburgh I called the central midwife appointment line. She took my details and date of my last period. She booked my booking appointment then my scan at the same time. She asked me where I wanted my scan as there is a local treatment centre 5 mins away from me. I  chose to go there as my hospital is 1 hour bus ride away and I don't have a car right now.

In the uk you have an nhs scan at 12 weeks and then 20 weeks. You have it booked by your midwife at your first appointment with her. Some women have early scans due to medical reasons but if all is ok with you youll have one at 12 weeks unless you pay private beforehand
