Eating during labor

This is baby number three for me. My first labor was rough and longgg (epidural) and my second was very smooth and very fast (no epidural). I didn’t eat during labor. Recently I’ve been obsessed with watch labor and delivery vlogs and a lot of them the woman have eaten (mostly snacks but some had meals) through out their long labors. I just want to know what everyone’s opinions are. I know the reasoning behind why they tell you not to eat, in case of emergency c section.
