We've been trying for a year and 5 months

We've been trying for a year and 5 months. Can't say for sure what allowed the pregnancy to finally happen but we did IUI this cycle for the first time and apparently it worked! I'm 31 and there were no obvious issues with my husband or me so I was pretty distressed about how long it was taking to get pregnant. I'd also been doing acupuncture and taking Chinese herbs for around 5 months so it's possible that helped. This cycle I had spent a lot of mental effort trying to not think about whether I was pregnant. I've also been working on my weight which could have helped.
