My guardian angel
So I'm in line for pizza at Costco... a cute little old man turns around and says "Oh! I'm not the last one in line!" I turn around and say "Me neither!" He then says "Would you like to go in front of me? Anytime I see a pregnant lady, I let her go in front of me." I say, "No, it's ok." He says, "I can get you to the front of the line." And I laugh. He then taps the two young men in front if him, "Will you let her in front of you? She's pregnant." I laugh and say "No, no, that's not necessary." Then all four people move and let me through. The old man continues, "Any time I see a pregnant lady, I let her in front of me... in fact I was at the DMV one time and it hadn't opened. The line was long, and most of us were gathered under an awning because it had started to rain. A pregnant lady joined the line, but she couldn't make it under the awning, so I let her go in front of me." I stop his story. "Was this two years ago?" He says, "Could've been." "That was me!" I say, and I point at Gio. One of the younger men say "He's your guardian angel." I eat, finish, and go to say bye. I ask him for his name... it's Michael (My husband's name!) I can't believe it. I met my guardian angel today.
