My boyfriend and mum made me a birthday cake on Friday, it’s been in the fridge since, is it still safe to eat to eat?

Yes. Haha do cakes go bad? Unless it’s hard/dry I’ve never thrown a cake thinking it might be bad / past expiration.

I had a huge birthday cake that sat on the counter for over a week and I ate it everyday and was perfectly fine lol

I’d say it would depend on the type of cake. Most regular cakes should be fine after a day or 2 in the fridge. However I wouldn’t risk it with something like a flan or a cheesecake (I’m cautious though!)
