So i've been talking to this guy for like 4 weeks and we really got along well, and he always told me he really liked me and he showed pretty good interest in me and so did i, but yesterday we were talking just like normal and out of no where he sent me this paragraph, do you guys think he met someone new? Or does he really like me? Or...? Please help..

Hmm he’s kinda sending mixed messages. 
I’m all about honesty and if you realize a month into talking to someone that you’re not truly into it, that’s great. That’s the whole point of dating after all, to figure out if you want to be with someone. 
Saying he doesn’t want a relationship is honest, but also saying he wants to keep talking to you and see where it goes is confusing. It could be that he did find another girl and he wants to keep his options open. 
If I were you I would just go forward as if nothing is going to happen with this guy. In your mind, tell yourself he is just a friend. If you aren’t comfortable with that, you can also choose to stop talking to him. If the relationship ends up turning into something more then that’s a bonus, but it’s not a guarantee and you could end up developing deeper feelings for him and getting more hurt in the long run. I personally wouldn’t want to be a guy’s backup plan

What were your conversations like before? have you ever brought up marriage,  kids,  the future? Some guys shy away from that kinda stuff so early on and see it as you're rushing him to commit...or he could just be a dog,  who's only seeking a hookup and you're nobody's jump off.
