How would u deal with in laws who don’t accept u?

Question

My in laws are STRICT Christians & my mum in law is someone who dominates the family. 
Right from the start, my mum in law has always been biased towards me bcos I’m not the ideal daughter in law that she wanted- I’m catholic (instead of Christian), don’t go to church, older than my fiancé & been older she thinks I’m infertile😡 (WTF!!! I’m pregnant now!!!)
She refused to meet my parents or been involved with our engagement. We don’t see her as much now bcos she loves drama & would pick on every single little thing about me to find faults in me & then backstabbed me over the phone to her son (I overhead the conversation when my fiancé begged her to meet my parents for the engagement gathering). 
I feel upset & angry towards her all the time & at the same time I respect the fact that it’s his mum so we visit once a month. I feel left out when we visit his family bcos no one makes an attempt to chat to me (including his sis & her bf). 
Don’t know what to do- how would u interact with ur in laws who don’t accept u? Also we’re married- how would u break the news & tell them we’re expecting a baby? My mum in law is a passive aggressive person who’s nice in front of me BUT backstabs behind my back- so how would u deal with this kind of person???😥 PLS HELP!!!

I wouldn’t marry or have a child with a person who allows their family to treat me badly. Bad in-laws are a common issue. My in-laws suck. But my husband 100% stands up for me and we are a team. You don’t have an in-law issue. You have a husband issue. He needs to check his family. If he allows this to continue it won’t ever end band there isn’t anything you can do about it.

This is easy... for your well being and your child’s wellness.. stop visiting your monster in law. Talk to your husband and let him know it’s a toxic environment for you and children😘
Maybe she’ll get the point and try to be a better mother/MIL/grandma/Christian 😘

My soon to be in laws suck... well, his mom and step dad. His dad is awesome. They don't necessarily treat me bad but don't talk to me. We only go down for Christmas now. They found out about baby over the phone (he called) and our engagement on Facebook. I don't care anymore 🤷‍♀️ Honestly I wouldn't go with him if we didn't have a child together.

I would say your husband has tried to go to bat for you, but mama is a big pain. I would stop attending the monthly get together (have done this). Have him tell them.yoir pregnant, but as you are not being treated right only he will be there not you or any kids you jave. Its funny how quick th ey chnage minds. But in my case my mip and sil said something when he daid this, he called them judgmental, un christian like bitches. He said if they ever waanted him in their life they needed to figure their sh out snd we sll didnt tall for 6 mos. they both apologized to me.directly, and now involve me.

This arguments angers me so much. A Christian and catholic are very similar except that one believes in divorce (as king Henry ruled). You still have the same faith and beliefs in regards of Jesus and our lord. 
I am married to an Irish catholic but am christened Church of England (Christian) and still am accepted into my husbands family with open arms. 
Does your husband go to church? If not then her upset with you is completely biased and your husband needs to have a word with her. 
You should be able to tell you MIL your pregnant anyway you wish, it’s up to her how she reacts.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years. His mom is extremely attached to him. She’ll book trips for just the two of them. He’s very passive and his scared to piss her off so he rarely says no and doesn’t say no right away. You’d think that after 5 years of him being with me, she’d realize that he has his own life. You’d think that she would allow her 27 yo son to have his own life. I get along great with his dads side of the family. Except the step mom. She’s legit psycho and full of drama. Not sure why sons mom can be such a pain in the ass.

I never would have married him knowing his family was like that. Only thing you can do is stop visiting them and stay away. Don't contact them at all, they dont deserve it. Let your husband stay in contact, but you stay away.

I would have your husband talk to her. Have him tell her that she needs to respect you as part of his life and if she can’t do that, you won’t be going there. Why should you be around people who don’t accept you? So stay away, until she is mature enough to handle a relationship with you without making you feel ostracized from the family. What that means as far as when the baby comes into the picture, I think she will quickly realize that she won’t be seeing that baby as much as she wants to if she’s not going to treat you with respect.

My in laws hate me so much they have tryed splitting me and my bf up , he told them to get out of his life if they were going to treat me so bad , they went out of his life till they found out I was pregnant, now they being all nice and stuff (only because there other two grandchildren are I’m a another country ) , if I was you I wouldn’t let your bfs family control you , if they don’t want to met your family then there loss
