Contractions keep stopping!?

Hey y'all! This is our second child and I'm 36w4d... Starting Friday night I keep having real strong contractions back to stomach that will last a few hours then they just stop for a few hours or longer and then start back up again! Have any of you experienced this or have any ideas or suggestions? thanks!!

Yup false labor. It sucks. My bestfriend had false labor for weeks, but she was dilated to a five by the time her labor actually started nearly 3 weeks later.

My doctor called it false labor. It's been happening off and on to me too.

Yup! Same here happened for 2 nights straight and when I went to my appointment I was checked and my cervix was like a damn brick house! A warm bath helps.

Omg same! I’m 37 weeks today and I’ve had them for 2 weeks. They get strong too! Last week at my appt I was dilated to a 2. Hoping they turn into the real thing. Just frustrating not knowing!!
