LISTEN. I’m seeing all these 13/14 year olds asking about having sex and if they’re pregnant or not. In the UK, if you have sex at any age under 16, it’s instantly deemed as rape since the person is under the consenting age. Is it different in other places?

in new jersey, USA, you have to be 16 to consent to anyone. you can be 13 to consent to anyone 4 years in that age range, the 4th year is where it is considered rape. so a 13 year old can sleep with anyone between the ages of 13-16.

Any sexual encounter under 18 is rape in Turkey. However since the gov’t doesn’t do its job, there are many young girls forced to become teen moms in rural areas (unlike the 14yos here willingfully keeping their babies)
