Fiancés mom bought the ring

Would you be mad if you found out that your finances mom is the one that picked out and bought your engagement ring (he paid her back). It’s not even about the ring itself cause it’s a beautiful ring, it’s more the thought.

Just to clarify I’m not angry or upset I’m more just weird about the entire thing. The way this all went down is she send him like 5 pictures of rings on iMessage and he replied being like I like the second picture and she’s like okay perfect and bought it and sent him the bill. I love his mom but bottom line is she doesn’t know me like he does. And although beautiful the rings she sent aren’t the kind I have shown him that I like. I honestly think if he had gone in himself he would have picked something more my style because i have shown him.
