15 weeks and panicking about maternity pay...

So I’m pregnant with my first rainbow baby. Nearly 16 weeks in and I’m starting to panic about how I’m going to manage financially when I start my maternity leave from work.

I work full time but my maternity package is crap: 6 weeks at 90% salary then the rest of the time I have off I will be on government statutory pay which works out at something like £130 a week! At this rate I’m going to have to go back to work before my baby is even 2months old 😢😢

Is anyone else worrying about the financial implications of having a baby and wanting a decent amount of time off for maternity?
