Numbers aren’t doubling?

Hey everyone. I did blood work on Tuesday and my hCG level was at 80. On Thursday it was 288. I’ve read that the number is supposed to double. Doubling would mean 320. Should I be worried? I haven’t been able to reach my doctor. I miscarried at Christmas and so I’m really nervous.

It's supposed to double every 48 hours or so. 160 would be double your level on Tuesday. 240 is triple, and 320 would be quadruple your original level. You're doing fine!

I see why you are saying, if it was 80 on Tuesday, it should be 160 on Wednesday (80+80) and then 320 on Thursday (160+160). But I don’t think they are so far behind to be worried, I think everyone’s rises at a different pace. The doubling thing is just what’s the norm.
