Depression after Nexplanon Implant?
So I got my implant Feb 1st of this year, got my period once a couple weeks after and haven’t gotten it since. However I noticed since I got the implant I been more “lazy” and “depressed”? I’m a senior in high school and I’m very outgoing but it seems like every weekend I stay in the house for no reason! And I’ll find myself overthinking situations, I’ve lost friends (which is normal) but I feel isolated. What can I do?? Do I have to take birth control pills that help or what can I do?
** I’d like to mention I’m very outgoing and active. I used to play volleyball and go to the gym often. I had two jobs and hold 2 Vice President titles at school, and I’m in different clubs, all which require work. I used to be good at keeping up and everything but I don’t think it’s normal for me to turn introverted. Also I got the implant only because I’ve had a boyfriend of four years already and we wanted to be safe. He’s been my only sexual partner as I been his.
I’m not sure if this is just “senioritis” or perhaps birth control effects but I’d really like to know what I can do to help me become my normal self again!
