We didn’t tell anybody until the baby was born, it was like our little secret! We did it because I didn’t want to hear my in laws bickering about the name. They wanted the baby to be named Charles! My husband’s name is Charles as is his father’s and grandfather’s! We decided to skip the tradition and pick his own name, but give him Charles as his middle name! So his name ended up being Winston Charles and thankfully nobody gave us a hard time after he was born!

Yes! We originally thought we were having a boy, so we would share our boys names and EVERY NAME at least one person had a negative story or connotation to the name. So when we found out we’re actually having a girl- we chose 2 names and we haven’t told a soul! It’s so nice to have that as our little secret. We are going to wait and see what she looks like before we make a final decision😊

Our baby name list is the best kept secret ever. I only asked my mum for what names we had to avoid, henry wasn’t even on the list so no problems there 😝

No, but our family and friends are all super supportive. Initially, my mom didn’t like the nickname we picked and said she’d use our baby girl’s full name (which is 100% okay), but she warmed up to it in about 3 days :)

We did. My fiancé didn’t want to, but I was adamant. I wanted something to be a surprise. We named him Lorenzo Michael B—. Lorenzo in honor of my maiden name DiLorenzo and Michael after my fiancé.
