Starting Clomid for first time this cycle!!

So last cycle wasn't my month, and now my doctor is having me start Clomid this cycle. I got AF around 10pm on the 26th, with light brown discharge, then started medium bleeding in the afternoon of the 27th. Called my doctors office to let them know so they could go ahead and set up an appointment on CD 21, May 17, to check my progesterone levels. I have to take Clomid from CD 5 to CD 9. I'm already on 2,000mg of Metformin a day, plus a prenatal vitamin. I'm so anxious. I know that not a lot of women get pregnant on their first round of Clomid, but hopefully using OPKs and BDing like crazy could make this my month! My birthday is the 12th of May, so if I could get a BFP this month, that would make the best birthday present I could ask for!!! Baby dust to all of us!!!!
