Business Donates Food To Thief...

A donut shop in my area just posted this (I’ll include the screenshots but also summarize it here). It’s a video of a woman who came and stole money out of their tip jar. And in response the company is putting out a food barrel and asking people to donate non perishable items, and inviting the woman to come back next week so they can give it to her.

I honestly LOVE this. As a Buddhist, I believe that kindness and compassion is always the best option. I hadn’t heard of this place until today, but after this - they are definitely a business I want to support; and I will be going in to contribute.

But what do you guys think? Do you agree or disagree with their response?
