Would you tell a manager your pregnant at an interview?

I am looking for a new job because mine literally sucks. I am 8 wks and not showing and I don't plan to tell anyone until 12-13wks because I've had 2 MC's. Do I tell people I interview with that I'm pregnant? They can't legally deny you a job if your pregnant but there are other ways around that.

No because they aren’t allowed to prejudice against it.. but many will. Unless the job is dangerous somehow and needs accommodations.

Hell no!  You need to protect yourself.  Sure they can’t legally deny you the job because of pregnancy but they can claim some “other” reason.  Think of it this way - does a man need to admit he’s an expecting father?  No.  And there’s no reason for you to bring it up either.  Most people don’t even tell their employer until 3-5 months any way.

I wouldn't tell them until after I got hired. They can't legally turn you down bc of your pregnancy but they can find some other reason to turn you away to cover their asses. I'd say to wait until later and pretend you just found out lol

I just got a job that I start today and told the manager I was pregnant. Didn’t have a choice in the moment because she wanted me to start working on Saturday. But Saturday we had our gender ultrasound 2 hours away in Chicago. (I’m having a girl!!) and my sister works there and she already told everyone. So in my case it was already known for the most part. Didn’t affect anything.

I was about 10 weeks when I went for the interview for the job I have now.. I researched this high and low and you have no legal obligation to tell your employer that you're pregnant. I told mine two weeks after I started after I was 'out of the woods' as they call it.. because my job involved me lifting heavy things..  was awks for the first two weeks because I'd say they thought I was lazy 😂 but everything turned out fine in the end

I did. I applied and got a job when I was around 10 weeks - and I told them because I knew I wouldn’t want to have issues getting time off for appointments etc. 
It worked really well for me. They appreciated my honesty, and gave me a casual position with guaranteed hours but also flexibility so that I could go to appointments. As a business it didn’t make sense to take me on full time when I would need so much time off and would only be working for 6mths ish (and it’s completely understandable) but everyone was upfront and honest 
My thinking was if I went for a full time role id be limited with normal restrictions for leave and appointments. Some of my appointments were last minute or changed unexpectedly and casual meant I had that flexibility and the business wasn’t relying on me being there full time but only showing up when I could

Don’t . Wait until later. I got a new position as a Heritage teacher and I didn’t say a thing. When professional development begins I’ll be 22 weeks, I might consider telling them then. I did tell my current principal at 7 weeks, but not the new one.

I wouldn’t mention it if you’re only 8 weeks but will you be able to preform your duties fully (or almost fully) to the end? It wouldn’t be fair to them or your coworkers if you’re able to do the job for a couple of weeks and then all the sudden you’re not because of your pregnancy.
