Progestrone levels?

Question

My doctor called me a few days ago and said I did ovulate with femara, my levels were 6.6... is that good? I know about hcg levels but I’m clueless with progestrone levels

Hello!! Saw this on babymed.com hope it helps.                                                  After ovulation, progesterone is produced increasingly from the corpus luteum and the progesterone levels gradually rise from a baseline of 1.5 to 3 ng/mL by the first day after ovulation. Levels then continue to rise until it reaches a peak 7 days after ovulation reaching levels of approximately 10-20 ng/mL. Progesterone levels can vary depending on the timing of the blood draw, and even on the same day can be very different. So I would say that your levels are within range of someone who has ovulated. 👍🤗

My RE told me on a medicated cycle he expects over 20 but anything above 15 is good. To be honest I was pregnant last year with my progesterone at 5.1 and I miscarried.

I thought that ovulation is confirmed if progesteron is 10-20. But this peak happens 7 days after ovulation so if you tested a few days late or early, then 6 makes sense😊

I would say yes! The first month i was on it, my Progesterone level was only 5.7 and they had told me that I did indeed ovulate! I freaked out cause I had always read that your level should be 10 on an unmedicated cycle and 15 on a medicated one. But, I had the first real period I’ve had in months that cycle! Baby dust! 💗🤞🏼✨
