I need advice please

So my boyfriend recently got a job opportunity come up in Florida where they would pay for relocation and the pay in general is way more than his McDonald’s maintance salary. It’s enough where I wouldn’t need to work. We currently live in Louisiana which is where all of my family is, his is in Texas. I have 2 children from a previous marriage and we are expecting our first child together. My mom over heard a very small conversation about us possibly moving out of state and lost her marbles on me. She feels like my boyfriend is just trying to take us away from my family. She doesn’t know how I could be so selfish to take the kids away from everyone. I see a small part of her concern but I don’t feel it’s as drastic as she’s making it out to be. We aren’t moving country they will still be apart of our life. I’m just not sure what to do with the opportunity for a better future for my family actually being more tangible. Or how I could even apart this topic with her again much less actually follow through with the move.
