does Merina change your cycle?

Ladies so before i got my merina back in August i had a 30-32 day cycle, once i got my merina i still always had a light period! (just spotting) i have gotten it removed at the end of march and had a regular period since, according to glow (because i wasn’t sure i put my cycle length as 28) says i’ve already ovulated?! so my question is does the merina change your cycle?

Answer

Yes it can/does because it’s hormonal. It takes time for your body to adjust. I had mine removed and it took 6 weeks to have a period and have been bang on regular since. I didn’t have a period the whole 5 years I had it tho. And  my ovulation day fluctuates now, but my cycle length is 23-24 days. It’s way shorter than it was pre mirena.

Mine came out in March and I’ve had 25 day cycles with ovulation on day 12.
