Yeast infections

How do you avoid yeast infections I just had one 2 weeks ago I know the reasoning for that but now I’m feeling a little itchy and that’s usually how it all starts😩. The first time was because my SO fingered me in the car so he could’ve had germs or whatever I get that but after that I haven’t done anything I only wash with water but maybe soap gets a little too close ? Well scented soap because I’ve been using these natural products I got from a store called Lush at the mall & I don’t put it Inside my vagina or even close to the lips really .. just the outside on top because it exfoliates & lightens up the skin but not inside maybe the smell is too much and when I wash after it fucks up . Idk but how can I avoid this it’s so annoying 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
