Stomach Ulcers

Quick history about me. When I was about 10 years old, I wanted to surprise my family (grandparents and parents) with food when they got home from work. So I made a whole dozen eggs for them. My dad told me they weren’t hungry, so he sat me down and forced me to eat it all (yes I threw up). Fast forward a couple years, I started getting stomach pains but never payed much attention to it. It wasn’t until I was about 18 years old that my stomach pains started getting worse. Almost every day it would hurt and foods would make it worse. NOW, i hardly even eat because of how nauseous it makes me.

Went to the doctor in February. Told him how my upper middle abdomen hurts, always nauseous and with stomach aches. He immediately said it sounds like I have ulcers. SO he prescribed me medication for 3 months.

I SUCK at keeping up with medicine, so I didn’t take it for the first month. I’m supposed to take it twice a day, but I only take it once in the morning before I “eat” (I eat the few left overs my kids leave).

I’m still nauseous, my stomach still hurts. It’s been a month that I’ve been taking them now. I’m kind of starting to doubt I even have ulcers. Let me point out that my doctor didn’t even run any tests or do an ultrasound/sonogram to confirm. BUT THEN AGAIN, I’m not taking my pills as I’m supposed to.

Did anyone else suffer with stomach ulcers? How long did it take for it to go away?
