Ovulation help?!

Question

Haven't had a period in 3 months and thanks to provera I finally started today! 🙌🏼 so today marks cycle day 1 right? BUT....glow is saying I will ovulate on cycle day 24? I thought it's like cycle day 11-21...When should I start ovulation tests?

Answer

It depends. When you signed up i think you have to put in your average cycle length. So if you put 40 days, it tracks it based on that cycle estimate. Provera won’t really guarantee your cycles will be 28 days so if your are normally irregular then it’s going to be hard to tell. I would start OPKs sooner rather than later maybe like 7-10 days since your period ended last. Does the doc have you in clomid too?  I’m in the same boat as you as I’m not sure when to test ovulation but my cycles are super irregular. My doc has me on clomid and my last period day was the 28th and the doc recommended i start OPKs this Friday if that helps with any reference. Also a tip ( if you didn’t know) to test multiple times a day with OPKs. Guess your body releases the LH hormone at different times. Stinks cause they are kinda expensive but hopefully good news will come of it!
