Do you think a couple that isn’t married or engaged be TTC?

Just out of peer curiosity. I’m not engaged or married but my boyfriend and I did TTC our baby. And over the past few months I have had a variety of reactions.

My boyfriend and I are TTC number 2 and aren’t married or engaged 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s our decision no one else’s and idgaf what anyone else thinks 🙂

We were supposed to get married in January. I’m already almost 31 and I really want a baby. So we started ttc once we got engaged. 
I got pregnant right away and we’re due in December. 
We pushed the wedding back to March because that’ll give me some time to fit into my dress again. 
The baby will be born out of wedlock technically. But it will have my fiancé’s last name, and three months later I’ll have the same name too.

My husband and I purposely tried for our son when we were just bf and gf. We’ve been married a year, our son is turning two in July, and we’re expecting baby #2. We just knew it would be right for us and didn’t need to follow “the order”.

I’m not married 👏🏼 my boyfriend and I of 6 years decided 7 months ago to start trying for a baby ❤️ marriage wasn’t our first priority when starting our family. We’re now 5 weeks pregnant.

Stability is not based on a piece of paper. Marriages fall apart every day.

Why not? How does a piece of paper make a married couple better parents than an unmarried couple? I know plenty of people that just don't believe in marriage. It doesn't mean their relationship is less serious than other people's.

I think as long as they're able to provide stability and financially, then at the end of the day it's none of my business. However, to me, having a baby with someone is even more of a commitment than marriage (you can divorce a spouse, but once you have a baby with someone they're in your life for the next 20 years) so I guess part of me doesn't understand if you're committed enough to have a baby with someone but not get married? I don't think I could have a baby with someone that I'm not 100% certain of enough to marry. But at the end of the day, your relationship is not for me to have to understand as long as your baby is loved and provided for.
