My husbands dad has this girlfriend, not wife or fiancé, girlfriend who he has been with for 6+ years. She sits at their house all day and does nothing, doesn’t grocery shop, occasionally cooks, maybe sometimes cleans, has her own kid but doesn’t have custody of him. She’s just a bum and an alcoholic. He broke up with her whenever i was pregnant a few months back because she was having liver failure because of her alcohol addiction then she was going crazy from having to quit drinking. He talked all this shit on her about how she dragged him down and he will never get back together with her. Then a couple months before I gave birth, he gets back together with her. Now whenever we go over there she literally just hogs my child, says she wants him to spend the night with her and she wants to baby sit. I literally look at her sideways. Why the hell would i ever let someone watch my baby who doesn’t even have custody or go visit their own child AND she’s an alcoholic. On top of that, his dad nicknamed her “Grammy Peeps”. This bitch is not is Grammy in anyway shape or form. My husbands mom died when he was 14, that’s his grammy. Not some alcoholic freeloader that doesn’t even care about her own child. So I’m just wondering, with all that being said, am I wrong for feeling this way? I honestly can’t stand the women. Like how do you think that I’d be genuinely okay with someone like that watching our child?
