What’s going on?

I’m 16 and I’ve never had sex.  I had 3 periods in a month and a half but I haven’t had my period for 2 months since then. For the past week or so I have been spotting but no period or symptoms. What could be going on? Is this something I should be concerned about?

I used to have this too! When I was 16 my periods were out of control! I got on birth control and they became regulated. It could be due to stress, hormone fluctuation, malnutrition, etc. You can consider birth control which may regulate it, and you might want to consider going to a doctor. It isn’t an emergency (I don’t believe) but it’d be nice to have a regular period
