When do I throw in the towel?

Hubs and I have 8 & 11 year old, we’ve tried for #3 for well over a year now, any kind of infertility doctors and such are not a financial option for us so is this the end of the road for us? Why can we not get preggo? We’ve had two beautiful healthy boys with no pregnancy problems whatsoever, took us 6 months to conceive with both of them, is it because we are older?? I’m 33 he is 35???? Just don’t know what to do anymore?? It’s craziness?!?!?

I have 3 children that are 16,13,11  been trying for number 4 for 3 years finally went and got checked out in Jan and my progesterone was very low. It was 7 The doctor put me on letrozole. Also i had low vitamin D Your body, hormones, vitamins everything can change over time. A fertility check up and blood work was the same price as a regular copay for me. Every month i get my blood work done on day 21. I felt like giving up many times because it just wasn’t happening. I wasn’t ovulating and i had 3 kids naturally with no extra help. I just turned 35 in april.

You might just need to try a fertility drug like Femera to help with ovulation.

I'm 39, mine are 11 and 8, I've been ttc for 3 years 11 months! Not giving up, still hoping every month. Got everything tested 1.5 years ago was told everything was great no problems. Had 2 miscarriages one in 2015 one in 2016, lost 30 pounds and nothing since.... Yes we r old, but not out of the game. I got pregnant before, both times, without trying at all, so 4 years of trying sucks! 2 people around me both have 2 kids under 2, and still nothing for me. But still trying, when it happens there'll be plenty of friends close in age! Good luck.

Yup.. Believe it or not age is a huge factor. I'm 35 and ttc for some time now and fertility docs say there are no problems that they can see. I think with you keep trying till you land on that one good egg
