Things I’ve learned

Ca

I’m 23 weeks pregnant. FTM. I’m a nurse but I know nothing about kids and babies. I keep learning things about babies that the average mom definitely knows and I keep thinking phew I’m glad I found out before I gave birth!

For example, just found out you can’t put sunscreen on a baby until 6 months old. Also I think I thought breast pumps were given/sold/rented at the hospital. And there were only a couple to choose from. I knew there were kinds you could buy but I thought that was like an extra breast pump to keep at work or something. I thought this up until like a week ago when my sister asked me if I’d researched what kind of pump I want.

Have you all learned things about babies and parenting that you probably should have known before now?
