Two periods in a month?! Could this be implantation?!

I had my regular period about 14 days ago. Normal like always, lasted me 6 days. My period is never on a regular schedule but I do get it every month. This month I ended up getting I guess you could say another period but it only last 2 days, and it just felt odd... didn’t feel like a regular period. No cramps, on the light side of a period.

My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for quite some time and haven’t been successful. I’ve been on different types of birth control for 5 years and I’ve been off for a little over 2 years. Thought I should let my body get back to normal for when I’m ready to have a baby.

I’m not supposed to get my next period until May 15... could this mean implantation, or is my body just playing tricks on me and really did give me a mini period?!

Has this ever happened to anyone ?!
