I wouldn't personally intervene because if they'll hit someone they know, they'll sure as hell hit a stranger. But I would definitely take a photo to identify them and then call 911.

This is such a hard one. 
Obviously everything inside of me would be screaming to go and help, but in reality if the abuser is willing to do that in public then they’d most likely turn on you. 
I know that is probably a very selfish view but as an outside with two young children, currently pregnant with everything to live for - I don’t know if want to take the chance of getting my head kicked in. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Call for help, yes. But as far as me stepping in, no. I wouldn’t advise anyone to do that, because not only are they getting hurt, you are now possibly going to get hurt due to that poor decision. Especially if you don’t know what the situation is about in the first place.

I hit the wrong button but 10000% would do something. Im only 14 and I have stepped in before. You helping could make their live much better or even save it. It’s the right thing to do
