pumping colostrum?

anyone else pumping their colostrum? if so how much are you getting? I'm being induced sunday/Monday and am hoping that if nothing else I'll have enough pumped incase my milk doesn't come in that quick. they don't eat much at first anyways.

Do not pump before baby gets here! Your body makes the milk nutrient rich and it is jam packed in a tiny perfect portion for the baby. Your milk shouldn’t be all the way in until day 2 or 3 postpartum. Your baby will bring on lactation. Don’t force it. You will mess up your supply.

I pump and fill syringes. I specifically am doing this because I have GD and in case babe’s sugar is low and we are separated or he can’t latch, I’ll have some on hand instead of formula. I only get 20-40 ml each time but I only pump once a day every other day, stared at 36 and 4 days. Now 38&4. Here is my frozen collection so far.

Did it with my first and again this time. I’m getting around 8-10ml per time. I have a ton saved up.
