Period late 4 days pregnancy text negative

I been trying for a baby, had my last period on March 30th last 3 days. I normally don’t miss my period, I can be early a day with my period or late just by one day. I took a pregnancy text because I though maybe am pregnant but it came out negative. I was really hoping for a positive test :,(. Dunno is it just my period being late? IAnyone had a situation like this.
