Corpus Luteum?

Has anyone had this? What is your experience? Or does anyone know what a heterogeneous hypoechoic is?

Corpus luteum is the name given to what was the follicle that contained the egg that has now, along with the sperm, formed into your embryo 😊 if the egg was fertilised, which it was if you're pregnant, then the follicle takes on a new role as a source of nourishment for the embryo until the placenta takes over about 10 weeks!  It produces lots of progesterone and estrogen to nourish your growing little one! I think it can be fairly common for cysts to form from these too and they shouldn't cause any serious problems!

I think corpus luteum is what the egg is released from before it is implanted or after ovulation.
