How accurate are these?

12weeks exactly today and can’t find the heartbeat had scan last week and seen heartbeat 💗

They are good for hearing the heartbeat by the actual number isn’t accurate. It can be hard to find though! Baby is so small at 12 weeks. I’m 13 weeks and can only find it sometimes. My mother in law is an OB nurse and can find it every time lol it takes skill

I love mine. I'm on my third child and I've used it every time. I usually can find the heartbeat by 11 weeks, I found it this time at 9.5, but it does take A LOT of time and practice. Watch YouTube videos, that's what helped me in the beginning.

I’m 12 weeks tomorrow & have only used this a few times & can never find it lol. I’m totally ok with tho-not worried one bit. I expected it to be a while before I can find it on my own. Esp since this is my first!

My doctor said these can be a nightmare! Makes pregnant women worry and panic when they can’t find it on their own. I don’t have one for that reason

I have found mine every time since 9 weeks. I am not 12 and it takes like a min. But I have an active one so it doesn’t always stay. I wish I could post a video to send you for what to listen for. You can msg me on a social media and I can do a video of how I find mine. 
Best way is, your pubic bone. Use 2 fingers width up from there. Then move around. If it sounds like a wishing sound that is your placenta (mines on the front, I asked my dr) so my lime is harder to find and likes to hide behind my heartbeat. BUT you will hear like a trotting sound almost and that’s baby. Just remember whosing sounds are not baby but their pulsing is around 125. Baby could be closer to belly button area I would go in small circular motions to find the trotting sound. Like a horse trot. Your uterus should be large enough to feel. I can feel mine its harder in my stomach there then anywhere else.

I have this same one. Don’t get me wrong I panic when I can’t find the heart beat which is the down side to using a Doppler. I never hear the heart beat only see the numbers which is it. Just try not to get stressed if you can’t find it :) x

This one is very good. I find it every time but for whatever reason it took me longer to find at 12 weeks than at 10. There are some great YouTube videos, very helpful.
