I dont get why people say this to me

People keep on shipping me and my crush and we even have a ship name even his ex is shipping us and thinks we're cute together but I don't know why. Today I was told that it's pretty obvious that he likes me and I don't know why my friends said that. How would you know if a boy would have a crush on you or how would you know that it's obvious that he likes you????? Please comment
