Is it???

I started my period two days ago with cramping and bright red bleeding. Not sure why I tested, but I just felt like I needed to. My husband sees the line (it looks brighter in person - the pictures end up a little distorted), but he says it's a false positive because I'm on my period and I've had too much bleeding for it to be implantation. Aaaaand he's got a point. I've had implantation in the past, but my bleeding is much heavier and bright red this time. Could this be chemical? I'm going to test again in the morning (this was at 5pm today) and I'll update!
