Has anyone ever experienced a flow change?

My period has always been the same like clock work. I always have a somewhat heavy/ medium flow and have super bad cramps the first day and then no cramps the second and third and by the Third day my period is gone. Today is the first day and I’m bleeding pretty lightly but no cramps. I was on the depo on and off for like 3/4 years. And got off of it to ttc in January of 2017. This period is just different and I’m just wondering if anyone’s period has ever changed. Or weather the depo had something to do with it or something thank you lady’s
